Guided tour
Klaipėda holds a special place in the history of Lithuanian rowing. Find out how rowing traditions took shape here and see trophies from the Olympic Games, World and European competitions. Documentary video clips complement the story, offering a closer look at the sport's past.
Tour for all age groups, duration 1 hour
From the sailing vessel "Budys" to F2 powerboats, from Modestas Paulauskas to the yacht "Lietuva" sailing around the world - get to know sporting Klaipėda. Hear about the city's sporting achievements, see the trophies won and watch documentary footage of the relay that ran through the city streets in 1967.
Education session for children aged 8-15, duration 1 hour
Getting to know sport starts with curiosity! Solve sports mazes, answer quiz questions and check how much you already know. Perhaps this is where you will find something that makes you even more interested in sport?
Education session on the beginnings of basketball in the world and in Lithuania, grades 5-8, duration 1 hour
Today we recognise basketball from the first bounce of the ball. But how did it all begin? Discover the origins of basketball in the world and in Lithuania. The session is complemented by a documentary film.
For pre-school groups and grades 1-4, duration 1 hour
What do the Olympic rings mean? Which Klaipėda athletes took part in the Olympic Games and what trophies did they bring home? After learning about Olympic symbols, Klaipėda's Olympians, their kit and their awards, you will line up at the start yourselves. Tasks await, along with Olympic ring tossing and a "Cornhole" event - throwing bean bags at a target. Once the results are in, the winners will receive awards.
Education session for grades 9-12, duration 1 hour
Which of an athlete's deeds deserve an award? Meet Kazimieras Budrys - the first "Fair Play in Sport" laureate in Lithuania. Hear about his work and the Olympic flame, and see the torch relay attributes from the 2012 London Olympic Games.

How much do you know about sport? Test yourself in the sports quiz battle - questions await, along with a chance to recall stories you have heard and learn new ones.
